The WoW-KL Awards recognise individuals and organisations that contribute meaningfully to Malaysia’s literary, educational and reading culture ecosystem.
The awards are part of WoW-KL’s wider mission to revive reading as a force for thought, leadership, emotional resilience, creativity and nation-building.
From educators and publishers to book clubs, illustrators, young writers and community champions, the WoW-KL Awards honour those who help build a smarter, stronger and more thoughtful Malaysia.

Outstanding Reading Educator
For an educator who inspires students to read, write and think deeply.
Community Bookshop of the Year
For a bookshop that creates meaningful community engagement around books.
Outstanding Local Publisher
For a Malaysian publisher demonstrating excellence in championing quality literature and nurturing local voices.

For a lifetime of exceptional service and enduring contribution to Malaysian literature and its literary heritage.
WoW-KL Visionary Award
Presented by the WoW-KL Organising Committee to an individual or organisation whose vision, leadership or support has made an exceptional contribution to the growth of the WoW-KL movement.

Winners will be recognised at the WoW-KL 2026 Awards Ceremony on 15 August 2026.
